Just wanted to add, I enjoy the site and say thanks for the great job you all do here.

This race is, I think, the most important of all the special elections in the past year. If Childers can hold on and win, it will show that even in a white-majority, deep South district, Democrats running as Democrats are competitive — and are no longer going to give anywhere in the country to the Republicans.
Based on your offer, the previous responses, and my own contribution five minutes ago, SSP is now over the top of its goal.
In addition to providing extremely useful info, this site is terrific in terms of creating enthusiasm and a sense of unity that Dems MUST pick up as many seats as possible in November.
